December 21, 2025 - Winter Solstice (Yule) & Start of the Rauhnächte

The longest night of the year! The winter solstice marks the astronomical start of winter and the rebirth of the light. From today, the days will get longer again. At the same time, the magical Rauhnächte begin.

Themes: Rebirth of the light, hope, introspection, calm

Rituals: Candle meditation, incense with frankincense and fir, oracle, placing gifts of nature on the altar

Colors: Red, Green, Gold, White

Crystals: Clear Quartz, Garnet, Ruby

December 21, 2025 - January 1, 2026 - The 12 Rauhnächte

The holiest time of the year! During these 12 nights between the years, the veil between worlds is especially thin. Each night symbolically represents a month of the coming year.

January 6, 2026 - Epiphany (Three Kings' Day)

End of the Rauhnächte period. Traditionally, on this day, incense is burned one last time and the house is blessed. The magical time between the years ends.

February 2, 2026 - Imbolc (Candlemas)

Festival of the growing light! Imbolc celebrates the first signs of spring. The days become noticeably longer, the first snowdrops appear.

Rituals: Lighting candles, starting spring cleaning, crafting Brigid's cross, making plans for the year

March 20, 2026 - Spring Equinox (Ostara)

Day and night are equally long! Ostara celebrates balance and the beginning of spring. Nature awakens, seeds germinate, new life begins.

May 1, 2026 - Beltane (Walpurgis Night)

Festival of fertility and joy of life! Beltane celebrates the peak of spring and the beginning of summer. It is a festival of love, passion, and creativity.
