Welcome to the first Rauhnacht! Today, on December 21st, the winter solstice marks the beginning of one of the most magical times of the year. The Rauhnächte are the 12 sacred nights between the years, during which the veil between worlds is especially thin.
Meaning of the First Rauhnacht
The first Rauhnacht represents January of the coming year. It symbolizes new beginnings, darkness, and the light that is reborn. It is the longest night of the year, after which the days grow longer again.
Rituals for the First Rauhnacht
