Vetiver essential oil , also called khus oil, is extracted from the vetiver plant, a dense, green grass native to India that can grow up to 1.5 meters tall. Vetiver oil is highly aromatic and has a distinctive, sharp, earthy scent that you may recognize from men's perfumes.

The soothing and cooling effect of vetiver essential oil calms and soothes all types of inflammation. It particularly relieves inflammation in the circulatory and nervous systems.

Vetiver essential oil is a well-known sedative. It relieves nervous irritations, discomfort, spasms, and emotional outbursts such as anger, anxiety, epileptic and hysterical seizures, restlessness, and nervousness. It even helps patients suffering from insomnia.
