Calcite geodes – 8–9 cm

A beautiful geode filled with calcite and quartz crystals from Morocco, directly from Mother Earth. Broken open, geodes look great. Rocks completely filled with small, compact crystals. Calcite is a carbonate mineral and the most stable polymorph of calcium carbonate. Calcite is said to amplify thinking, improve memory and intellectual performance; and promote mental growth and development. Small geodes like (number 5) are often sold in novelty and science stores to people who want the experience of opening a geode themselves.
