Organic Tea Tree Essential Oil is said to be beneficial for constipation, colds, coughs, and flu. It is used to treat acne, fungal infections, dandruff, vaginal infections, hemorrhoids, and athlete's foot, and is said to relieve sore muscles and joint injuries. When added to bathwater, it helps fight bacteria. Tea tree oil should not be taken internally. It is typically only used by adults and should be kept away from children and pets. Aboriginal Australians have been known to use the crushed leaves for hundreds of years to heal cuts, burns, wounds, and infections. They inhaled the oils from the crushed leaves to relieve coughs and colds. They sprinkled this oil on wounds and applied a poultice. They poured over the leaves and made tea to soothe sore throats.
